Morristown-Beard Crimson (Morristown, NJ) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Boonton Bombers (Boonton, NJ), 69-46 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Morristown-Beard upgrades its record to 8-12 on the campaign. The Crimson travel to Hanover Park (East Hanover, NJ) to play the Hornets in a Northwest Jersey - Independence bout on Thursday, February 8. The Hornets come into the bout with a record of 15-5. Hanover Park won 45-41 in their recent league bout against Pequannock (Pompton Plains, NJ)

Next up, the Bombers play the Somerset Tech Jaguars (Bridgewater, NJ) in a Freelance bout, on Thursday, February 8. Boonton will attempt to upgrade on its 3-13 season record. The Jaguars come into the bout with a 1-15 record after their 29-21 non-league loss to Calvary Christian (Old Bridge, NJ).
