Nebraska High School Basketball - Bruning-Davenport/Shickley knocked off by Meridian

The Meridian Mustangs basketball team scored 47 points and held the host Bruning-Davenport/Shickley Eagles to 29 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Mustangs now sport a 10-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Silver Lake for a non-league contest on Friday, February 9. Meridian will meet a Mustangs team coming off a 61-22 non-league win over Giltner (Giltner, NE). The Mustangs record now stands at 15-6.

The Eagles (6-12) will now prepare for their contest against High Plains (Polk, NE). The Storm enter the non-league contest with a 12-8 record. In their last contest, High Plains ran past Osceola (Osceola, NE), 49-46, in a non-league contest.
