Brunswick Academy Vikings (Lawrenceville, VA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Kenston Forest Kavaliers (Blackstone, VA), 42-29 in a league bout.

With the victory, Brunswick Academy upgrades its record to 17-4 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Isle of Wight Academy (Isle of Wight, VA) to play the Chargers in a non-league bout on Wednesday, February 7. The Chargers come into the bout with a record of 11-2. Isle of Wight Academy won 31-17 in their recent non-league bout against StoneBridge (Chesapeake, VA)

Next up, the Kavaliers play the Tidewater Academy Warriors (Wakefield, VA) in a VISAA Division IV bout, on Friday, February 9. Kenston Forest will attempt to upgrade on its 6-8 season record. The Warriors come into the bout with a 8-9 record after their 38-30 league win over Amelia Academy (Amelia Court House, VA).
