In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Vienna Eagles (Vienna, MO) basketball squad edged the host Calvary Lutheran Lions (Jefferson City, MO), by a count of 68-64.
The Eagles (9-9) will now prepare for their outing against Viburnum (Viburnum, MO). The Blue Jays go into the Gasconade Valley outing with a 10-12 record. In their last outing, Viburnum was tipped by Steelville (Steelville, MO), 41-25, in a league outing.
The Lions now hold a 14-9 record. They play next when they host Jamestown for a CCAA outing on Thursday, February 8.
