Monticello Panthers (Monticello, IA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Camanche Indians (Camanche, IA), 49-20 in a league bout.

With the victory, Monticello upgrades its record to 17-3 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Northeast (Goose Lake, IA) to play the Rebels in a non-league bout on Thursday, February 8. The Rebels come into the bout with a record of 15-7. Northeast won 64-29 in their recent non-league bout against Anamosa (Anamosa, IA)

Next up, the Indians play the Assumption Knights (Davenport, IA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, February 10. Camanche will attempt to upgrade on its 7-15 season record.
