North Carolina High School Basketball - Northeastern over Camden County

Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Northeastern Eagles (Elizabeth City, NC) and the host Camden County Bruins (Camden, NC), saw Northeastern's basketball squad overcome Camden County by a tally of 58-39.

With the victory, Northeastern improves its record to 14-5 on the campaign. The Eagles host South Central (Winterville, NC) to confront the Falcons in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, February 7. The Falcons come into the challenge with a record of 18-2. South Central won 81-27 in their recent league challenge against New Bern (New Bern, NC)

Next up, the Bruins confront the Hertford County Bears (Ahoskie, NC) in a 2A/3A Northeastern Coastal challenge, on Friday, February 9. Camden County will attempt to improve on its 2-15 season record. The Bears come into the challenge with a 13-7 record after their 50-43 league loss to First Flight (Kill Devil Hills, NC).
