The Caverna Colonels basketball team (Horse Cave, KY), was overwhelmed 75-30 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Edmonson County Wildcats (Brownsville, KY)
The Wildcats now possess a 16-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Butler County for a District 12 battle on Friday, February 9. Edmonson County will confront a Bears team coming off a 46-40 league loss to Grayson County (Leitchfield, KY). The Bears record now stands at 12-11.
The Colonels (2-20) will now prepare for their battle against Green County (Greensburg, KY). The Dragons come into the District 18 battle with a 13-6 record. In their last battle, Green County trounced Larue County (Hodgenville, KY), 54-17, in a league battle.
