The Hackett Hornets basketball team scored 48 points and held the visiting Cedarville Pirates to 37 in the Hornets league triumph on Tuesday.

The Hornets now sport a 4-14 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Charleston for a 3A Region 4 contest on Friday, February 9. Hackett will meet a Tigers team coming off a 58-47 league win over Paris (Paris, AR). The Tigers record now stands at 10-11.

The Pirates (14-13) will now prepare for their contest against Paris (Paris, AR). The Eagles enter the 3A Region 4 contest with a 9-15 record. In their last contest, Paris was outscored by Charleston (Charleston, AR), 58-47, in a league contest.
