The Central Falcons basketball team (Capitol Heights, MD), was overwhelmed 67-23 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Largo Lions (Upper Marlboro, MD)
The Lions now possess a 15-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Potomac for a Prince George's County 3A/2A/1A battle on Thursday, February 8. Largo will battle a Wolverines team coming off a 75-5 league loss to Oxon Hill (Oxon Hill, MD). The Wolverines record now stands at 0-15.
The Falcons (5-15) will now prepare for their battle against Friendly (Fort Washington, MD). The Patriots come into the Prince George's County 3A/2A/1A battle with a 7-13 record. In their last battle, Friendly was overwhelmed by Chesapeake Math & IT Academy North (Laurel, MD), 34-32, in a league battle.
