With the victory, Central Wise improves its record to 16-4 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Gate City (Gate City, VA) to confront the Blue Devils in a Mountain challenge on Wednesday, February 7. The Blue Devils come into the challenge with a record of 6-9. Gate City won 37-34 in their recent league challenge against Union (Big Stone Gap, VA)

Next up, the Trojans confront the J.I. Burton Black Raiders (Norton, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, February 7. John Battle will attempt to improve on its 5-15 season record. The Black Raiders come into the challenge with a 12-7 record after their 63-48 league win over Twin Springs (Nickelsville, VA).
