Chanhassen Storm (Chanhassen, MN) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Jefferson Jaguars (Bloomington, MN), 74-50 in a league bout.

With the win, Chanhassen upgrades its record to 12-9 on the season. The Storm travel to Orono (Long Lake, MN) to face the Spartans in a AAA Section 6 game on Friday, February 9. The Spartans enter the game with a record of 11-9. Orono lost 67-54 in their recent league game against Chaska (Chaska, MN)

With the defeat, Jefferson moves to 2-20 on the year. The Jaguars travel to Benilde-St. Margaret's (St. Louis Park, MN) to face the Red Knights in a non-league game on Thursday, February 8. The Red Knights enter the game with a record of 14-5. Benilde-St. Margaret's won 88-54 in their recent non-league game against New Prague (New Prague, MN)
