The Chesapeake Math & IT Academy South basketball team (Upper Marlboro, MD), was routed 80-12 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Gwynn Park Yellowjackets (Brandywine, MD)
The Yellowjackets now sport a 15-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Surrattsville for a Prince George's County 3A/2A/1A battle on Friday, February 9. Gwynn Park will battle a Hornets team coming off a 55-41 league win over Douglass (Upper Marlboro, MD). The Hornets record now stands at 11-8.
The (10-6) will now prepare for their battle against Chesapeake Math & IT Academy North (Laurel, MD). The Tigers come into the Prince George's County 3A/2A/1A battle with a 9-7 record. In their last battle, Chesapeake Math & IT Academy North trounced Friendly (Fort Washington, MD), 34-32, in a league battle.
