In Tuesday's league outing, the Colonial Beach Drifters (Colonial Beach, VA) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Northumberland Indians (Heathsville, VA), by a margin of 37-9.
The Drifters (8-12) will now prepare for their outing against West Point (West Point, VA). The Pointers go into the non-league outing with a 11-8 record. In their last outing, West Point was trounced by Charles City (Charles City, VA), 50-37, in a league outing.
The Indians now own a 3-14 record. They play next when they travel to Rappahannock for a Northern Neck outing on Thursday, February 8. Northumberland will clash with a Raiders squad coming off a 52-39 league loss to Westmoreland (Montross, VA). The Raiders record now stands at 10-9.
