In Tuesday's league challenge, the visiting Eastern View Cyclones basketball squad scored a big 54-30 victory over the Courtland Cougars.

With the victory, Eastern View improves its record to 4-16 on the campaign. The Cyclones travel to Caroline (Milford, VA) to confront the Cavaliers in a Battlefield challenge on Friday, February 9. The Cavaliers come into the challenge with a record of 8-13. Caroline lost 80-76 in their recent league challenge against Culpeper County (Culpeper, VA)

Next up, the Cougars confront the Patrick Henry Patriots (Ashland, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, February 7. Courtland will attempt to improve on its 1-19 season record. The Patriots come into the challenge with a 2-17 record after their 55-19 league loss to Mechanicsville (Mechanicsville, VA).
