The Dassel-Cokato Chargers basketball team scored 69 points and restricted the host Howard Lake-Waverly-Winsted Lakers to 40 in the Chargers non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Chargers now sport a 12-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rockford for a AA Section 5 contest on Friday, February 9. Dassel-Cokato will battle a Rockets team coming off a 47-42 non-league loss to Litchfield (Litchfield, MN). The Rockets record now stands at 8-15.
The Lakers (1-19) will now prepare for their contest against Watertown-Mayer (Watertown, MN). The Royals come into the non-league contest with a 19-3 record. In their last contest, Watertown-Mayer triumphed over Annandale (Annandale, MN), 64-51, in a non-league contest.
