Kansas High School Basketball - Leavenworth knocked off by De Soto

The De Soto Wildcats basketball team scored 52 points and held the host Leavenworth PIONEERS to 37 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Wildcats now sport a 12-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lansing for a non-league contest on Friday, February 9. De Soto will meet a Lions team coming off a 47-38 non-league loss to Bonner Springs (Bonner Springs, KS). The Lions record now stands at 1-14.
The PIONEERS (5-8) will now prepare for their contest against Basehor-Linwood (Basehor, KS). The Bobcats enter the non-league contest with a 6-5 record. In their last contest, Basehor-Linwood ran past Piper (Kansas City, KS), 77-73, in a non-league contest.
