Neuqua Valley Wildcats (Naperville, IL) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting DeKalb Barbs (DeKalb, IL), 57-46 in a league bout.

With the win, Neuqua Valley upgrades its record to 18-10 on the season.

Next up, the Barbs clash with the Hinsdale Central Red Devils (Hinsdale, IL) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 8. DeKalb will attempt to upgrade on its 15-15 season record. The Red Devils go into the bout with a 9-19 record after their 53-34 non-league win over Leyden (Franklin Park, IL).
