The Eagan Wildcats basketball team scored 56 points and held the host Lakeville South Cougars to 43 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Wildcats now sport a 10-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Park for a AAAA Section 3 contest on Wednesday, February 7. Eagan will battle a Wolfpack team coming off a 42-31 non-league win over Irondale (New Brighton, MN). The Wolfpack record now stands at 3-18.

The Cougars (12-9) will now prepare for their contest against Burnsville (Burnsville, MN). The Blaze enter the non-league contest with a 8-13 record. In their last contest, Burnsville was defeated by Prior Lake (Prior Lake, MN), 84-50, in a non-league contest.
