Delaware High School Basketball - Lake Forest knocked off by Early College

The Early College Hornets basketball team scored 40 points and held the host Lake Forest Spartans to 26 in the Hornets league triumph on Tuesday.
The Hornets now sport a 15-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Indian River for a Henlopen - Southern contest on Thursday, February 8. Early College will meet a Indians team coming off a 47-29 league win over Laurel (Laurel, DE). The Indians record now stands at 9-7.
The Spartans (13-5) will now prepare for their contest against Woodbridge (Bridgeville, DE). The Raiders enter the Henlopen - Southern contest with a 11-3 record. In their last contest, Woodbridge was defeated by Seaford (Seaford, DE), 77-52, in a league contest.
