With the victory, Salisbury upgrades its record to 15-5 on the campaign. The Hornets host Lexington (Lexington, NC) to confront the Yellowjackets in a 1A/2A Central Carolina battle on Friday, February 9. The Yellowjackets come into the battle with a record of 7-14. Lexington lost 38-30 in their recent league battle against West Davidson (Lexington, NC)

The Golden Eagles (10-11) will now prepare for their battle against South Davidson (Denton, NC). The Wildcats come into the 1A/2A Central Carolina battle with a 4-17 record. In their last battle, South Davidson beat Thomasville (Thomasville, NC), 49-18, in a league battle.
