Sanderson Spartans (Raleigh, NC) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Enloe Eagles (Raleigh, NC), 44-20 in a league bout.

With the win, Sanderson upgrades its record to 5-16 on the season. The Spartans host Broughton (Raleigh, NC) to play the Capitals in a 4A CAP 6 bout on Friday, February 9. The Capitals go into the bout with a record of 9-12. Broughton lost 55-35 in their recent league bout against Cardinal Gibbons (Raleigh, NC)

Next up, the Eagles play the Athens Drive Jaguars (Raleigh, NC) in a 4A CAP 6 bout, on Friday, February 9. Enloe will attempt to upgrade on its 0-18 season record. The Jaguars go into the bout with a 8-13 record after their 45-35 non-league win over Heritage (Wake Forest, NC).
