North Carolina High School Basketball - St. Pauls edges Fairmont

February 6, 2024: St. Pauls, NC 28384

The St. Pauls Bulldogs (St. Pauls, NC) basketball nipped the visiting Fairmont Golden Tornadoes (Fairmont, NC), 52-48 in Tuesday's league test.

The Bulldogs (13-4) will now prepare for their test against West Bladen (Bladenboro, NC). The Knights go into the 2A Southeastern test with a 4-12 record. In their last test, West Bladen was tipped by Midway (Dunn, NC), 41-39, in a league test.

The Golden Tornadoes now own a 18-3 record. They play next when they host Red Springs for a 2A Southeastern test on Friday, February 9. Fairmont will encounter a Red Devils squad coming off a 35-24 league loss to Clinton (Clinton, NC). The Red Devils record now stands at 4-15.
