Franklin Quakers (Portland, OR) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host McDaniel Mountain Lions (Portland, OR), 53-22 in a league bout.

With the win, Franklin upgrades its record to 7-11 on the season. The Quakers host Benson Tech (Portland, OR) to clash with the Techmen in a 6A Portland bout on Thursday, February 8. The Techmen go into the bout with a record of 13-4. Benson Tech won 63-56 in their recent league bout against Jefferson (Portland, OR)

Next up, the Mountain Lions clash with the Cleveland Warriors (Portland, OR) in a 6A Portland bout, on Thursday, February 8. McDaniel will attempt to upgrade on its 2-15 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 10-7 record after their 70-27 league win over Roosevelt (Portland, OR).
