The Pearl River Rebels (Pearl River, LA) basketball crushed the visiting Franklinton Demons (Franklinton, LA), 56-23 in Tuesday's league test.

The Rebels (20-7) will now prepare for their test against Lakeshore (Mandeville, LA). The go into the 4A District 8 test with a 10-15 record. In their last test, Lakeshore was trounced by Loranger (Loranger, LA), 59-49, in a league test.

The Demons now own a 7-14 record. They play next when they host Salmen for a 4A District 8 test on Thursday, February 8. Franklinton will encounter a Spartans squad coming off a 45-40 non-league loss to Destrehan (Destrehan, LA). The Spartans record now stands at 15-16.
