With the victory, Ishpeming improves its record to 15-0 on the campaign. The Hematites host Negaunee (Negaunee, MI) to confront the Miners in a Mid-Peninsula challenge on Friday, February 9. The Miners come into the challenge with a record of 16-1. Negaunee won 57-44 in their recent non-league challenge against Calumet (Calumet, MI)

Next up, the Braves confront the Menominee Maroons (Menominee, MI) in a Great Northern U.P. challenge, on Friday, February 9. Gladstone will attempt to improve on its 9-5 season record. The Maroons come into the challenge with a 7-9 record after their 49-41 league win over Marquette (Marquette, MI).
