Missouri High School Basketball - Linn County ripped by Green City

The Green City Gophers basketball team scored 58 points and held the host Linn County Mustangs to 24 in the Gophers league triumph on Tuesday.

The Gophers now sport a 17-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to La Plata for a Tri-County - Northeast contest on Friday, February 9. Green City will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 76-28 non-league loss to Meadville (Meadville, MO). The Bulldogs record now stands at 17-3.

The Mustangs (3-13) will now prepare for their contest against Milan (Milan, MO). The Wildcats enter the non-league contest with a 11-9 record. In their last contest, Milan was routed by Westran (Huntsville, MO), 46-44, in a non-league contest.
