The Midwest City Bombers basketball team scored 39 points and held the host Guymon Tigers to 31 in the Bombers league triumph on Tuesday.
The Bombers now sport a 17-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host MacArthur for a 5A District 2 contest on Friday, February 9. Midwest City will battle a Highlanders team coming off a 54-52 league win over Del City (Del City, OK). The Highlanders record now stands at 15-4.
The Tigers (9-8) will now prepare for their contest against Marshall (Oklahoma City, OK). The Bears enter the 5A District 2 contest with a 3-17 record. In their last contest, Marshall was defeated by Southeast (Oklahoma City, OK), 2-0, in a league contest.
