In Tuesday's league outing, the Hale Ray Noises (Moodus, CT) basketball squad beat the visiting Portland Highlanders (Portland, CT), by a count of 41-23.

The Noises (6-10) will now prepare for their outing against Haddam-Killingworth (Higganum, CT). The Cougars go into the Shoreline outing with a 10-8 record. In their last outing, Haddam-Killingworth was topped by North Branford (North Branford, CT), 71-45, in a league outing.

The Highlanders now hold a 1-16 record. They play next when they travel to Westbrook for a Shoreline outing on Saturday, February 10. Portland will clash with a Knights squad coming off a 49-26 non-league loss to Lyman Memorial (Lebanon, CT). The Knights record now stands at 3-14.
