With the victory, Shelby upgrades its record to 5-9 on the campaign. The Tigers host Holton (Holton, MI) to play the Red Devils in a Central State bout on Friday, February 9. The Red Devils come into the bout with a record of 11-4. Holton lost 33-21 in their recent non-league bout against Newaygo (Newaygo, MI)

Next up, the Panthers play the Ravenna Bulldogs (Ravenna, MI) in a Western Michigan - Other game, on Friday, February 9. Hesperia will attempt to move on its 3-13 season record. The Bulldogs enter the game with a 5-9 record after their 50-26 league loss to Mason County Central (Scottville, MI).
