The Triton Mustangs basketball team (Runnemede, NJ), was routed 56-35 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Highland Regional Tartans (Blackwood, NJ)

The Tartans now sport a 12-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Timber Creek Regional for a non-league battle on Thursday, February 8. Highland Regional will battle a Chargers team coming off a 48-27 non-league win over Cumberland (Seabrook, NJ). The Chargers record now stands at 15-7.

The Mustangs (6-12) will now prepare for their battle against Deptford (Deptford, NJ). The Spartans come into the Tri-County - Liberty battle with a 3-16 record. In their last battle, Deptford was routed by Delsea (Franklinville, NJ), 45-20, in a league battle.
