Troy-Buchanan Trojans (Troy, MO) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Howell Vikings (St. Charles, MO), 60-42 in a league bout.

With the victory, Troy-Buchanan upgrades its record to 19-4 on the campaign. The Trojans host Timberland (Wentzville, MO) to play the T-Wolves in a Gateway - South bout on Friday, February 9. The T-Wolves come into the bout with a record of 8-14. Timberland lost 53-19 in their recent league bout against Fort Zumwalt West (O'Fallon, MO)

Next up, the Vikings play the Howell North Knights (St. Charles, MO) in a Gateway - South bout, on Friday, February 9. Howell will attempt to advance on its 15-5 season record. The Knights go into the test with a 11-11 record after their 59-44 non-league win over Orchard Farm (St. Charles, MO).
