Virginia High School Basketball - Hurley ripped by Phelps

The Phelps Hornets basketball team scored 64 points and held the host Hurley Rebels to 31 in the Hornets non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Hornets now sport a 14-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Belfry for a District 60 contest on Thursday, February 8. Phelps will meet a Pirates team coming off a 51-41 league win over Pike County Central (Pikeville, KY). The Pirates record now stands at 8-12.
The Rebels (4-17) will now prepare for their contest against Belfry (Belfry, KY). The Pirates enter the non-league contest with a 9-12 record. In their last contest, Belfry triumphed over Phelps (Phelps, KY), 67-35, in a league contest.
