The Riverdale Chieftains basketball team scored 44 points and restricted the visiting Iowa-Grant Panthers to 27 in the Chieftains league victory on Tuesday.

The Chieftains now sport a 7-15 record. They put it on the line next when they host Boscobel for a Southwest Wisconsin Activities contest on Friday, February 9. Riverdale will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 62-57 league loss to Darlington (Darlington, WI). The Bulldogs record now stands at 6-14.

The Panthers (9-13) will now prepare for their contest against Fennimore (Fennimore, WI). The Golden Eagles come into the Southwest Wisconsin Activities contest with a 14-9 record. In their last contest, Fennimore was defeated by Darlington (Darlington, WI), 62-50, in a league contest.
