The James River Knights topped the visiting Patrick County Cougars basketball team by a final score of 43-24 in Tuesday's league game.

In their next game, the Knights face the Glenvar Highlanders (Salem, VA) in a Three Rivers game, on Thursday, February 8. James River will attempt to move on its 12-10 season record. The Highlanders enter the game with a 0-19 record after their 68-9 league loss to Alleghany (Covington, VA).

With the defeat, Patrick County moves to 11-10 on the year.
