The Johannesburg-Lewiston Cardinals basketball team scored 63 points and held the host Pellston Hornets to 13 in the Cardinals league triumph on Tuesday.

The Cardinals now sport a 10-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hillman for a non-league contest on Wednesday, February 7. Johannesburg-Lewiston will meet a Tigers team coming off a 58-11 league win over Atlanta (Atlanta, MI). The Tigers record now stands at 10-6.

The Hornets (1-12) will now prepare for their contest against Inland Lakes (Indian River, MI). The Bulldogs enter the Ski-Valley contest with a 9-5 record. In their last contest, Inland Lakes triumphed over Forest Area (Fife Lake, MI), 60-34, in a league contest.
