South Dakota High School Basketball - Jones County thwarted by Philip

The Jones County Coyotes basketball team (Murdo, SD), dropped 45-32 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Philip Scotties (Philip, SD)

The Scotties now possess a 9-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lyman for a non-league battle on Thursday, February 8. Philip will battle a Raiders team coming off a 62-38 non-league win over Chamberlain (Chamberlain, SD). The Raiders record now stands at 16-2.

The Coyotes (7-9) will now prepare for their battle against Bridgewater/Emery (Emery, SD). The Huskies come into the non-league battle with a 5-10 record. In their last battle, Bridgewater/Emery beat Flandreau Indian (Flandreau, SD), 64-25, in a non-league battle.
