With the victory, Newton upgrades its record to 12-9 on the campaign. The Braves travel to Sparta (Sparta, NJ) to play the Spartans in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, February 7. The Spartans come into the challenge with a record of 7-14. Sparta lost 30-19 in their recent non-league challenge against Jefferson Township (Oak Ridge, NJ)

Next up, the Cougars play the Wallkill Valley Rangers (Hamburg, NJ) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, February 8. Kittatinny Regional will attempt to upgrade on its 12-10 season record. The Rangers come into the challenge with a 7-13 record after their 80-47 non-league win over Dover (Dover, NJ).
