In Tuesday's league outing, the Pine Lake Prep Pride (Mooresville, NC) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Langtree Charter Lions (Mooresville, NC), by a margin of 49-6.

The Pride (10-9) will now prepare for their outing against Corvian Community (Charlotte, NC). The Cardinals go into the 1A/2A Catawba Shores outing with a 5-15 record. In their last outing, Corvian Community was trounced by Mountain Island Charter (Mt. Holly, NC), 40-29, in a league outing.

The Lions now own a 4-20 record. They play next when they travel to Community School of Davidson for a 1A/2A Catawba Shores outing on Friday, February 9. Langtree Charter will clash with a Spartans squad coming off a 38-35 league win over Christ the King (Huntersville, NC). The Spartans record now stands at 20-1.
