The Mountain House Mustangs (Mountain House, CA) basketball crushed the host Lathrop Spartans (Lathrop, CA), 70-49 in Tuesday's league test.

The Mustangs (19-8) will now prepare for their test against Ceres (Ceres, CA). The Bulldogs go into the Western Athletic Conference test with a 19-7 record. In their last test, Ceres walloped Grace Davis (Modesto, CA), 53-28, in a league test.

The Spartans now own a 17-10 record. They play next when they host Los Banos for a Western Athletic Conference test on Thursday, February 8. Lathrop will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 51-39 league win over Pacheco (Los Banos, CA). The Tigers record now stands at 16-11.
