Union County Braves (Morganfield, KY) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Livingston Central Cardinals (Smithland, KY), 37-35 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Union County upgrades its record to 12-9 on the season. The Braves host Henderson County (Henderson, KY) to clash with the Colonels in a District 6 bout on Friday, February 9. The Colonels go into the bout with a record of 17-6. Henderson County won 55-19 in their recent league bout against Webster County (Dixon, KY)

Next up, the Cardinals clash with the Carlisle County Comets (Bardwell, KY) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, February 10. Livingston Central will attempt to upgrade on its 9-8 season record.
