Georgia High School Basketball - Memorial Day ripped by Twiggs Academy

The Twiggs Academy Trojans basketball team scored 59 points and held the host Memorial Day Matadors to 28 in the Trojans league triumph on Tuesday.
The Trojans now sport a 12-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Crisp Academy for a non-league contest on Thursday, February 8. Twiggs Academy will meet a Wildcats team coming off a 58-42 league loss to Fullington Academy (Pinehurst, GA). The Wildcats record now stands at 12-7.
The Matadors (2-16) will now prepare for their contest against Islands (Savannah, GA). The Sharks enter the non-league contest with a 0-16 record. In their last contest, Islands was routed by Southeast Bulloch (Brooklet, GA), 48-20, in a league contest.
