Wisconsin High School Basketball - Merrill ripped by Stevens Point

The Stevens Point Panthers basketball team scored 66 points and held the visiting Merrill Bluejays to 34 in the Panthers league triumph on Tuesday.
The Panthers now sport a 15-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Marshfield for a Wisconsin Valley contest on Friday, February 9. Stevens Point will battle a Tigers team coming off a 57-31 non-league win over Chippewa Falls (Chippewa Falls, WI). The Tigers record now stands at 14-7.
The Bluejays (11-10) will now prepare for their contest against Wisconsin Rapids Lincoln (Wisconsin Rapids, WI). The Red Raiders enter the Wisconsin Valley contest with a 7-15 record. In their last contest, Wisconsin Rapids Lincoln triumphed over Wausau East (Wausau, WI), 56-54, in a league contest.
