The Minneota Vikings basketball team scored 57 points and held the visiting Southwest Minnesota Christian Eagles to 53 in the Vikings league triumph on Tuesday.
The Vikings now sport a 20-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lakeview for a A Section 3 contest on Thursday, February 8. Minneota will battle a Lakers team coming off a 78-60 non-league loss to Redwood Valley (Redwood Falls, MN). The Lakers record now stands at 14-9.
The Eagles (19-2) will now prepare for their contest against Mountain Lake/Comfrey (Mountain Lake, MN). The enter the non-league contest with a 8-13 record. In their last contest, Mountain Lake/Comfrey was nudged by Windom (Windom, MN), 79-46, in a non-league contest.
