The Mount St. Dominic Academy Lions basketball team (Caldwell, NJ), dropped 53-39 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Newark Academy Minutemen (Livingston, NJ)
The Minutemen now sport a 12-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to West Orange for a Super Essex - American battle on Thursday, February 8. Newark Academy will battle a Mountaineers team coming off a 64-57 league loss to University (Newark, NJ). The Mountaineers record now stands at 16-7.
The Lions (9-10) will now prepare for their battle against Caldwell (West Caldwell, NJ). The Chiefs come into the non-league battle with a 10-8 record. In their last battle, Caldwell prevailed over West Essex (North Caldwell, NJ), 44-37, in a non-league battle.
