Virginia High School Basketball - Nansemond River trounces Western Branch

The Nansemond River Warriors (Suffolk, VA) basketball crushed the visiting Western Branch Bruins (Chesapeake, VA), 78-37 in Tuesday's league test.
The Warriors (16-3) will now prepare for their test against King's Fork (Suffolk, VA). The Bulldogs go into the Southeastern test with a 11-8 record. In their last test, King's Fork walloped Hickory (Chesapeake, VA), 56-20, in a league test.
The Bruins now own a 9-11 record. They play next when they travel to Great Bridge for a Southeastern test on Friday, February 9. Western Branch will encounter a Wildcats squad coming off a 70-25 league loss to Deep Creek (Chesapeake, VA). The Wildcats record now stands at 6-14.
