California High School Basketball - Oakmont edges Nevada Union

February 6, 2024: Grass Valley, CA 95945

In Tuesday's league outing, the Oakmont Vikings (Roseville, CA) basketball squad nipped the host Nevada Union Miners (Grass Valley, CA), by a margin of 52-47.

The Vikings (10-16) will now prepare for their outing against Placer (Auburn, CA). The Hillmen go into the Foothill Valley outing with a 15-12 record. In their last outing, Placer got by West Park (Roseville, CA), 54-51, in a league outing.

The Miners now own a 7-15 record. They play next when they travel to Ponderosa for a Foothill Valley outing on Thursday, February 8. Nevada Union will encounter a Bruins squad coming off a 58-45 league win over Lincoln (Lincoln, CA). The Bruins record now stands at 20-7.
