With the win, New Bern upgrades its record to 6-16 on the season. The Bears host J.H. Rose (Greenville, NC) to clash with the Rampants in a 3A/4A Big Carolina bout on Thursday, February 8. The Rampants go into the bout with a record of 3-15. J.H. Rose lost 52-34 in their recent league bout against D.H. Conley (Greenville, NC)

Next up, the Monarchs clash with the Havelock Rams (Havelock, NC) in a 3A/4A Big Carolina bout, on Tuesday, February 13. Northside - Jacksonville will attempt to upgrade on its 1-19 season record. The Rams go into the bout with a 8-14 record after their 65-25 league loss to South Central (Winterville, NC).
