The Stratford Tigers basketball team scored 39 points and restricted the host Newman Fighting Cardinals to 35 in the Tigers league victory on Tuesday.

The Tigers now sport a 12-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rib Lake for a non-league contest on Thursday, February 8. Stratford will battle a Redmen team coming off a 64-57 league loss to Prentice (Prentice, WI). The Redmen record now stands at 7-13.

The Fighting Cardinals (5-15) will now prepare for their contest against Prentice (Prentice, WI). The Buccaneers come into the non-league contest with a 8-13 record. In their last contest, Prentice edged Rib Lake (Rib Lake, WI), 64-57, in a league contest.
