The West Mecklenburg Hawks basketball team (Charlotte, NC), was overwhelmed 86-11 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting North Mecklenburg Vikings (Huntersville, NC)

The Vikings now possess a 17-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Chambers for a 3A/4A Queen City battle on Friday, February 9. North Mecklenburg will confront a Cougars team coming off a 69-22 league win over Hopewell (Huntersville, NC). The Cougars record now stands at 7-11.
