The Cougars now possess a 2-15 record. They put it on the line next when they host Prince Edward County for a James River battle on Wednesday, February 7. Nottoway will battle a Eagles team coming off a 31-25 league win over Cumberland (Cumberland, VA). The Eagles record now stands at 12-5.

The Statesmen (2-15) will now prepare for their battle against Appomattox County (Appomattox, VA). The Raiders come into the non-league battle with a 14-5 record. In their last battle, Appomattox County edged Brookville (Lynchburg, VA), 31-24, in a non-league battle.
